The Fairview is a casual, comfortable, no frills place. But the staff, patrons and food, make it exceptional.A great spot to stop for a few drinks and a meal. The atmosphere is a familiar sports bar and local corner tavern feel. Beer and liquor selection is pretty standard with a few seasonal brews and a moderate amount of locally made varieties. The one thing that has stood out for me, and others I know, is the pizza..and food in general.Well made, excellent portions and a great price!

This place has their service and food dialed in. Was there for steak night (pretty sure its saturday). Nice steak done just right, 1lb baked potato very nice, small side salad..all for $10. Well worth the money. Keep up the good work Fairview Tavern!

Excellent service good foods good place

We went for the Saturday steak special and were pleasantly surprised. $10 for a cooked to order 12oz steak that they actually took time to make taste good, a baked potato, and a salad. The ambiance is Sports bar, which is cool, but older and laid back with good service. We will definitely be back soon.

It's a simple place but perhaps that's the best part. The staff is great and the good is staffing. Best night to go is Sunday out Monday night. That's their pizza and wing night. Winds are great and the pizza is amazing and it's a great price. Definitely one of the best in Northeast Ohio.

Great little laid- back neighborhood place- super delish $10 grilled strip steak, huge baked potato that was so fluffy, fresh delish salad and super great waitress. Band was also amazing, played great boogie-woohoo rock & roll from the past, Just loud enough to make you want to dance but you can still talk to your friends. Wish they had a dance floor- I’d still be there shaking it all! Very comfortable and pleasant to be in. One of the best and most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a long time. Will be a regular there on Saturday nights! Love finding local places like this!

Absolutely positively 110% THE BEST Greek Salad (dine in or carry out) I've ever had!!! Love Fairview Tavern! Large portions and the food orders are always right and FANTASTIC!

Nice prices for steak night. Quality of the cuts of meet vary a lot (can have a good bit of gristle). Lively. Willing to accept parties of 8. Attentive wait staff. Prepared to order.

Great atmosphere

First visit. The Fairview Tavern was fun, and there was much good food. The staff were all friendly and professional. The homemade meatballs and the perch dinner were delicious. The restaurant and bathroom were clean and organized. I would recommend this restaurant to others. Enjoy!🙂

Been coming here for the past 5 years, but have slowly stopped coming as much due to poor service and lowered quality of food. Apparently on slower nights, it takes 30+ minutes for a pizza to come out soggy and oversauced. There are better bars and taverns in the area. Don't waste your money here anymore. It's a shame how downhill it has gone. Used to love coming here.

Great Place, Great Folks & Good Eats & excellent staff.

They let children sit in the bar area and when the parents get upset about the people being rowdy at the bar they complain. They should have the parents and children sit in the dining room. I will never go there again.

Had beer batter cod with fries and Pierogies Delicious? Well flavored and fresh. Wasn’t too impress with Pierogies but ok. I ended up dividing into 3 meals for me. Good takeout service.

Saturday $10 NY Steak Dinner with Bk Pot and salad. Awesome

I was really looking forward to trying this place because people had said good things about it. I ordered wings, and my husband had the cheesesteak. He said the cheesesteak was pretty good and had a good portion of meat on it. He had no complaints other than there was no bacon on it and the menu says there is bacon on it. The wings were WAY overcooked and so dry it was hard to get meat off of them. There was almost no sauce at all. The side of ranch that I ordered wasn’t given with the order. If I give this place a try again it will only be because I try to support local business.

Great food....always busy. Best fettuccine I have ever had. Look at that meatball appetizer. Great Pizza.

New to the area and have gone twice. Both times servers would walk by our table for 30 minutes without stopping to say anything. My last visit I was attempting to order amd was verbally attacked by a clearly drunk bartender.

Quality bar food and the pizza reminds me of childhood chucky cheese pizza, which to me is a very good thing!

The food is good, drinks are great, service is very good, but last but not least is the entertainment, which I drive from Michigan to see and hear Furious George Hartwig! He is awesome, great musician, takes requests, so much fun. He really engages with the audience and he is funny and so much more you can't find this just anywhere. My friends and I love the Atmosphere in this tavern.

Great wings. Typical bar / restaurant but food is almost always good and what you would expect. Nice selection of beer both on draft and otherwise. I have frequented many times and will again!
